does it frustrate anyone else when you have the ideas for tons of art projects, but not necessarily the skills to complete them? I really wish I had taken some art classes at some point in my life, because I have no idea how to proceed with some things. I don't know how to draw, paint, anything traditional basically; so anything I do is technically a craft. I know, dirty word. I hate that word because it conjures images of television hosts pretending they don't know what they are doing while amateurs show them some simplistic cut-and-paste project that any five year old could do. I prefer to call my work Krafts with a K, I'd rather be compared to unnaturally colored macaroni and cheese than television hosts that cannot act. Anyway, my frustration mounts and I wish I knew how to do some of the things I want to do. Fear of failure and humiliation prevents me from taking classes now, at the ripe old age of 28, though I suspect I have some ability, however small. Anyway, I just needed somewhere to vent my frustrations and this seemed the place. Good luck on your projects and enjoy your skills!
